Employee recognition badge.
As part of an employee recognition program, I designed a series of digital badges to celebrate achievements across different categories. The creative brief called for constellations and award-specific names, resulting in designs such as Lightkeeper, Starburst, and URSA.
To maintain brand consistency, I used our corporate palette of deep and light blues, layering shades to create depth and atmosphere. For example, in the URSA badge, dark blue silhouettes of desert plants contrast against a lighter mountain, evoking a sense of distance. White and light gray highlights represent moonlight and starlight, reinforcing the celestial theme.
Each badge carries a distinct shape and environment, from lighthouses and forests to tropical scenes, aligning with the unique meaning of each award. Created in Adobe Illustrator, this series visually connects employee recognition with guidance, growth, and teamwork
